Family Heirlooms – Baby Boy Landon

Becoming a Family

We asked this newborn’s parents what their first thought was when they saw him. “We fell in love all over again” – what a beautiful family!

If that doesn’t make your heart melt, we know these images will. One of my favorite things about this couple was being able to incorporate the traditional baby carrier they brought. We have a large variety of props at the studio to cover all of your baby photography needs but if you have a family heirloom you’d like to incorporate we’d love to capture it. The prints, albums, and canvases from our studio are heirloom quality. They will become treasures in your family for years to come.

What was the first thing you thought when you saw your baby for the first time?
We fell in love all over again.

What would be your advice to someone getting newborn photographs taken?
Be patient. Things never go as planned, but it’ll get there. Be sure to do your best feeding your little one before the session. If it happens to be during the session (like us), that’s fine. Kara was very patient and worked on baby’s time.

Did you bring a sentimental item to our shoot?
If so, what was it and please share why it’s such a special item for you.
We brought our traditional baby carrier to be photographed. We always like to incorporate our culture in our photos. Incorporating the baby carrier with its beautiful and colorful designs was perfect.
Are you curious about the history of baby wearing? Here is an interesting article.

What was your favorite part about our session together?
Our favorite part about the session was watching Kara photograph our little Landon. She was very gentle, delicate, and respectful of everything. All the behind the scenes were Kara’s creativity. It was a joy to see the different backgrounds and props she used.
